BAE Systems is looking for Systems Administrators with multiple years of experience and skills for future work on our government customer's new program that delivers applications and solutions across multiple classification levels in the environment.
As a System Administrator you will tasked with preforming TIER 2, 3 and 4 requirements:

  • Works closely with customers, end users, vendors, and CSPs to support, maintain, and operate the multi-domain CMIs for a multi-cloud environment.
  • Provides remote resolution support for TIER 3 support of the CMI environment (e.g., bastion hosts, proxy servers, tools) operating in each of the five CSP clouds on all three security domains. Supports all aspects of TIER 3 and support at TIER 2 as needed during periods of surge. Troubleshoots and determines root cause to resolve TIER 3 issues.
  • Escalates to and coordinate with TIER 4 and/or CSPs and/or other service providers (e.g., Broadside) as needed to resolve TIER 3 issues. Provides support to resolve CMI tool issues. Supports the administration and patching of CMI server systems.
  • Recognized first line to support within the organization to resolve TIER 3 and possibly TIER 4 issues. May mentor junior members of the team and may lead one or more projects or a small team. Evaluates and determines changes in methods, processes, and procedures.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Position Level:

  • Junior to Mid 3-5+ yrs work experience Tier 2 or equivalent experience and related certificates desired.
  • Senior 5-8+ yrs work experience Tier 3-4 or equivalent experience and desired related certificates


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
