Job Overview:The SVP, Technology Stability Program manager will lead matrixed team to ensuring stability, security and resilience of technology platform at LPL. As a senior leader in I&O organization, you will have the opportunity to formulate comprehensive strategies to enhance the stability of technology systems ensuring reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Strategies:
- Formulate comprehensive strategies to enhance the stability and security of technology Platform.
- Coordinate with Product and Technology teams across LPL to ensure a resilient Application platforms which delivers world class experience for our advisors from stability perspective.
- Build and implement roadmap to provide Stability Now with an eye to build better future for stability
- Monitoring and Evaluating Systems:
- Conduct operational evaluations to monitor, detect, analyze, protect, and respond to known Single Point of Failure, vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Collaborate with security operation centers and law enforcement agencies to address security incidents.
- Reporting and Accountability:
- Submit remedial action plans to address deficiencies, including budget recommendations and actions for improvement

Requirements:
- 15 + years of progressive leadership experience building / leading engineering teams in large, global financial institutions
- 10+ years of experience in managing and leading infrastructure and applications
- Bachelor’s/Advance degree and/or related field experience
- Technical Proficiency:
- IT Infrastructure: Expertise in managing and securing IT systems, networks, and communications infrastructure.
- Application development: Expertise in application architecture, development and integration patterns, proficient with modern application development paradigm
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology systems.
- Leadership and Management:
- Strategic Planning: Capability to develop and implement comprehensive strategies for technological stability and security.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills to address vulnerabilities and respond to incidents effectively.
- Analytical Skills:
- Problem Solving: Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and devising effective solutions.
- Data Analysis: Ability to monitor, detect, and analyze data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Communication Skills:
- Reporting: Competence in preparing detailed reports and communicating findings to senior management and government bodies.
- Collaboration: Effective communication skills to collaborate with public and private sectors, security operation centers, and law enforcement agencies.
- Adaptability:
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest technological advancements and cybersecurity threats.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and emerging threats.
- Extensive knowledge of trading platforms and industry
- Demonstrated technology and people leadership experience in architecting/deploying highly scalable platforms on-prem and cloud.
- Proven track record of infrastructure transformation focused on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for end-to-end infrastructure deployment automation.
- Experience leading engineering teams using Agile software development and LEAN/DevOps principles to deliver new platforms and services
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL and ITMS)
- Ability to convey technical solutions to the entire organization and experience working with senior leaders across the firm to leverage technology to drive positive business outcomes.
- Ability to shape strategic vision, transform, and lead without authority.
- Agile mindset; Possess a thorough understanding of modern work practices such as DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile project Delivery
- Extensive experience working in large technology ecosystems with emphasis on integrating multiple externally facing high scale, high volume, always-on mission-critical systems
- Ability to create and articulate inspiring vision for the organization
- Experience with a data driven approach to designing and implementing technology
- Highly collaborative with experience in leading and influencing teams.
- Foster a culture of excellence and ownership
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, security, privacy and risk safeguards required of a global financial institution
Pay Range:
$206,475-$344,125/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
