About This Role:

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced software executive to join us as a Senior Vice President of Systems Development. • Partner with quality resources to ensure conformance to – and continuous improvement of – the company's quality system, operating procedures, and design documentation requirements
  • Coordinate with regulatory resources on the development of regulatory submissions and strategically thoughtful responses to regulators’ questions
  • Develop and oversee the functional leaders and their team members to bring products in on time, on budget, and of the highest quality achievable under the first two constraints
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and evolve the software roadmap, and balance resources across a complex portfolio to ensure timely delivery
  • Leverage leadership and business acumen to develop, communicate, and drive team performance to enable the delivery of corporate goals
  • Plan and implement major infrastructure investments required to support growing operations
  • Drive staffing plans, team communication, and major budget decisions across Systems Development
  • Contribute to company strategy and goal development as a member of the senior leadership team

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 15 years’ experience in positions of progressively increasing responsibility around medical software development, with a demonstrated track record of success in leading teams to achieve impact
  • A BS/BA degree in engineering is required; an advanced degree in a technical or management field is strongly desired
  • Technical fluency in domains of AI, cloud computing, mobile apps, web applications, cybersecurity, and EHR integration with demonstrated ability to understand the details behind related software implementations
  • Demonstrated success in building the culture of a team and mentoring employee development at all levels
  • Easily build trust with team members and cross-functional partners, leveraging a low self-orientation
  • Excellent strategic and critical thinker, with solid business acumen and strong leadership presence
  • Experience in developing and deploying software in a global environment
  • Solid project management skills, manifest in the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and timelines

Ways To Stand Out

  • A goal-oriented, hands-on individual who operates with a sense of urgency and is comfortable using reasoned judgment to balance risk
  • Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including visual storytelling
  • Have a clear desire to succeed and be effective working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, while exhibiting the highest standards of quality, ethics and integrity
