About This Job
The SVP, Managing Director of Originations for NRELF will lead the origination of lender finance transactions, focusing on building credit facilities secured by consumer and commercial loans, leases, and other structured assets. This executive will be responsible for originating direct business and co-lender facilities, with a strong emphasis on loan and deposit production, credit structuring, and relationship development with private credit shops and asset managers.Responsibilities:
- Originate and structure credit facilities for finance companies, including direct and co-lender transactions
- Build and manage relationships with private credit firms, asset managers, and institutional clients
- Lead loan production and deposit generation efforts aligned with strategic growth goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory frameworks (OCC, BDO, SOX, etc.)
- Drive internal communication and strategic alignment across commercial banking teams
- Participate in credit reviews, pre-investment evaluations, and pricing/structuring oversight
- Represent the bank in client meetings, negotiations, and industry events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial banking, lender finance, or structured credit
- Proven track record in originating and managing complex credit facilities
- Deep understanding of credit risk, underwriting, and financial structuring
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives
