The Impact You Will Have

The SVP, Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in driving the definition and execution of our Infrastructure strategy, enabling powerful, data-driven, product experiences. The SVP will lead our Infrastructure, Support Services, and Site Reliability Engineering teams, and will work to align team goals and priorities to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and system reliability. This position will directly impact the productivity and efficiency of W&D employees and customers through the support of our internal and external products, services and SaaS applications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the infrastructure strategy for our products and end user services ensuring alignment with business goals, product vision and technical direction.
  • Align our Site Reliability, Infrastructure and Operations, and Support Services teams on a unified technology strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership in Product, Engineering and Information Security to define roadmaps and technical initiatives in alignment with broader department objectives.
  • Grow and lead a high-performing Technology organization, providing mentorship, coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with our external vendors, evaluate offerings, negotiate contracts and ensure delivery of services and solutions.
  • Educate and promote solutions and standards across the Technology organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • 15+ years of experience supporting distributed cloud software at scale, end user and IT services, and SaaS offerings.
  • 7+ years of experience building and leading distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in the real-estate domain preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expertise in AWS, Azure and related cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization and orchestration.
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern observability practices, including distributed tracing, structured logging, and metrics.
  • Strong understanding of information security certifications and audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in disaster recovery and business continuity principles.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that drives business value.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the proven ability to positively influence and inspire technology teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong agile mindset with the ability to iterate quickly and provide early feedback.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders.

This position has an estimated base salary of $240,000 - $260,000 plus discretionary bonus. An employment offer is based on the applicant’s relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
