JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Vice President of Field Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view. The SVP will lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Field and P&L management for COSC

  • Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.

  • Oversee operations and partner with HR, Finance and other supporting functions so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets

  • Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability

  • Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.

  • Establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices and standards, to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

  • Establish and administer the department's budget.

  • Evaluate department’s profits and revenue, and calculate risks

  • Leading the operations excellence team

  • Ensure business practices meet company goals and maximize efficiency

  • Facilitate leadership development within the company

  • Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.

  • Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts

  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations

  • Chief of staff for the President 

  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)

  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors

  • Collaborate with other executives and SVPs to decide on business strategies

  • Help with execution of the long-term strategic plan 

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

  • Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning

Skills / Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.

  • Demonstratable competency in strategic planning and business development

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Experience in a managerial or executive role in this industry

  • Strong experience in project management and budgeting

  • Strong financially, with excellent budgetary, forecasting and future planning skills

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred.

  • At least 10 years of Operational Leadership experience including three years in upper management required.

  • Experience in Finance or Management Consultant, preferred.

Compensation Range:

$263,800.00 - $471,000.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
