Support Engineering Manager (AMER)

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.

We’re for a Support Manager in the Americas - someone who’s excited to build, lead, and scale a team in a fast-growing, open-source startup. • Some experience leading or mentoring a technical team (support, engineering, or similar)—formal management experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong troubleshooting skills from a background in systems administration, database management, DevOps, or a related field.

• Familiarity with SQL (especially PostgreSQL) and a willingness to learn more.

• Comfortable using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line for basic troubleshooting.

• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions is a plus.

• Bonus: Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte, and some experience with Node.js.

• Full-time, remote role based in AMER time zones.
