Solenis is seeking a Support Engineer to join our team and support our water treatment operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that treatment chemicals and equipment are applied effectively, safely, and in a cost-efficient manner across customer sites. You will play a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering high-quality service that supports the success of our treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine service visits, perform system testing, and ensure optimal performance of water treatment programs.
- Document all service activities through detailed reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of onsite chemical inventory.
- Partner with Sales Account Managers to design, implement, and optimize water treatment programs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites and support the development of corrective action plans.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and assist with business development efforts at prospective sites.
- Analyze operational data to evaluate program performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe, compliant, and customer-focused manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial water treatment or a similar field preferred.
- Ability to travel locally to customer sites on a regular basis.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
