The Supply Chain Associate Program is Duke Energy’s premier leadership and Supply Chain development program for innovative college graduates seeking a dynamic career in a variety of Supply Chain functions at the country’s largest electric power holding company.

This rotational program is designed to be a talent pipeline for future leaders and technical experts in Duke Energy’s Supply Chain department. The program provides competitive experiences across a multitude of diverse Supply Chain environments that prepare participants to traverse into critical future roles. Each of the four, nine-month assignments may take place in any of the following Supply Chain areas: Sourcing & Accounts Payable, Operations & Analytics, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability, Compliance / Business Support Services and Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic alignment. Sourcing areas could include: Nuclear, Generation, Major Projects, T&D and Enterprise.
In these four rotations, Supply Chain Associates (SCAs) experience complex intellectual challenges, participate on and lead small-scale and large-scale initiatives, interact with other SCAs through planned social and work activities and gain practical, on-the-job experience in the areas of negotiations, commercial evaluations,project management, process improvement and numerous tools. SCAs gain heightened familiarity with a compelling corporate culture and direct access to the highest level of leaders across the company. In addition to competitive salary, SCA benefits include company-provided professional training, subsidized continued education, structured mentoring with top management, an orientation period for first-year program participants and optional participation in informal social, learning and service events organized outside of work for SCAs and other new Duke Energy employees.
At the conclusion of their program tenure, SCAs are fully prepared to deploy to an area of their interest, granted business need is present, in which they can contribute at a significant level.

Working Conditions:
• Hybrid Employee / Home & Office environment
• Rotation assignment may require direct support in the work environment that is required by that team
• Travel to company facilities and suppliers 25% of the time

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Communications, or a related field.
