Responsible for leading a team in the infrastructure function. May oversee any or all the following functions: Service Delivery (IT Service Management and Service Desk), Desktop, Collaboration/AV, Servers, Virtualization, Storage, Network Administration, Network Security, Telephony, Mainframe, Database Administration, Web Hosting, Production Control, Disaster Recovery, Enterprise System Monitoring, Enterprise Release Management, Security Operations, and Data Centers.
Develops and implements plans, policies and procedures. Collaborates with other departments to prioritize infrastructure needs. Evaluate results within IT partners and business units to determine if organizational objectives are being met. Analyzes and resolves infrastructure issue.
Supervise a team of front-line support specialists. Ensures staffing levels for all support channels are appropriate to meet service levels for the organization. Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- With higher level leadership support/guidance: hiring, performance management, coaching, mentoring of staff.
- Establishes and maintains daily schedules. Ensures service levels and other metrics are adhered to.
- Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports.
- Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods.
- Provides operational management for the specific sub-area or function under his/her direction with the support of higher-level leadership.
- Support and facilitate the development of others' knowledge and skills by providing timely feedback and guidance to help staff reach goals.
- Provide performance feedback, career coaching and mentoring.
- Provides input to manager on employee performance and on specific unit operations.
Required Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or a related field, preferably supplemental by course work in management; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
- 3+ years of experience in related field

- Previous leadership experience
