What's the Short Version?

The Supervisor, Inside Sales directly supervises and coaches employees to help each individual team member meet the requirements of the job. They carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This role supervises and supports the Customer Outreach Team. This growing team is responsible for outbound calling within an assigned territory. Our goal is to provide value by understanding the customers' needs and providing the appropriate guidance.

Shift hours: 6:30am - 3pm PST.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Oversee a dedicated Customer Outreach team, providing hands-on leadership and support to ensure proactive engagement with current and prospective clients.
  • Monitor daily outreach activities including outreach effectiveness, call quality, activity adherence and value, attendance, and productivity.
  • Monitor the Outreach Dashboard for accuracy, and to provide a steady and sustainable workload.
  • Responsible for aligning their team with the department, functional and company goals and guiding principles.
  • Use seasoned professional concepts and company objectives to identify and develop areas of opportunity and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Tailor coaching style to their individual team members using the different methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results as trained.
  • Ensure team members are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes or actions.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and meet with team members by scheduled deadlines.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Managers to participate in decisions that guide the direction of the department.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate Inside Sales policies, procedures and systems leading to improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years experience in outbound calling or inside sales preferably within the B2B sector
  • 1-3 years experience leading or supervising a team is preferred
  • Thrives in the unknown with an eagerness to create a value driven customer centric outreach team.
  • Comfortable owning a project and managing it through to its end.
  • Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments for their team
  • Ability to work with others to complete department deliverables
  • Displays a high level of business acumen
  • Works well in a team environment and contributes to building a positive team spirit
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work with and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Uses reason when dealing with emotional situations
  • Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Travel required

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $32.56 - $43.27 (WA, NJ); $29.96 - $39.81 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $28.00 - $37.21 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH, TN) on an hourly basis, depending on experience.


Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.


Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Remote: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required. #LI-REMOTE
