Summer Internship: R&D Quality Data Insights Intern (Remote)

Education Required:

Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Data Sciences, or a related field.  

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):

The R&D Quality Operations and Excellence Team is looking for a Data Insights intern to:

• Manage, create, clean, and transform critical data from across clinical trials, patient safety, and the R&D pipeline to produce meaningful insights that drive Quality by Design and Risk Based Quality Management. 

• Develop and implement systems for efficient data use and management, emphasizing user-friendly design.
• Generate actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.
• Provide technical support for product proof of concepts.
• Provide administration support to assist in team efficiency.
• Learn and apply Quality by Design and Risk-Based Quality Management principles.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Proficient in creating dashboards to visualize data effectively.
• Develop and recommend metric threshold criteria to ensure optional performance and quality standards.
• Enhance metrics regarding Quality Event Records, CAPAs, and Effectiveness Checks.
• Strong communication skill to articulate the rationale behind metric creation and design.

Computer Skills:   

• MSOffice
• Any combination of PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate

Other Qualifications:   

• Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic environment

Pay Rates:

Bachelors: $27/hour USD

Masters: $30/hour USD

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
