- Assist in the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation and infrastructure projects under the supervision of senior staff.
- Support the development of stormwater management reports, drainage studies, and technical memoranda.
- Assist with storm drain, culvert, and erosion and sediment control design tasks.
- Utilize hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (such as HEC-RAS, StormCAD, or similar tools) as appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or AutoCAD.
- Format reports, calculations, and specifications to support project documentation.
- Support project file management, including organization of electronic documents, printing, and scanning as needed.
- Gain exposure to permitting processes, including NPDES and local or state stormwater requirements.
- Utilize company-wide and department-specific software to complete assigned tasks.
- Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV’s organizational structure through diverse assignments and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Coursework or demonstrated interest in hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, or water resources engineering.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Compensation Range:
