Project Description (Fully Remote):

This position in the Commercial Training Department in is fully remote. We are looking for a graduate student ideally interested in training, instructional design, graphic design, curriculum building, education, human resources, coaching or I/O Psych development. Energetic, self-paced, strong project management skills, desire to network and confidence to work across stakeholders. Will work closely with training managers on large scale projects that impact the training function. Work could include training platform deployment, building training assets, needs assessment work including surveys, interviews and focus groups as well as integrating into training meetings, adult learning principles, and creative approaches to training.

Background Needed:

  • Pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Education, Instructional Design, I/O Psychology, or related

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing a Masters or PhD in Training and Development, Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction or related degree. Skilled in MS Office Suite. A passion for education and interest in science is desired.  A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred. We want someone who is able to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks from the end of May/ early June through August. Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community is also preferred.

  • The hourly rate range for Tarrytown, NY, Sleepy Hollow, NY, Armonk, NY, Warren, NJ & Rensselaer, NY & Remote is: $17.90-$50.90 per hour.
