What You’ll Do
- Sourcing Execution and Savings Generation
- Category Strategy: support the development and execute detailed sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and supplier consolidation plans.
- eSourcing Management Support: Plan, prepare, and execute competitive sourcing events (RFx, auctions) end-to-end using the Coupa Sourcing module.
- Negotiation: Assist in leading commercial negotiations with suppliers, focusing on achieving year-over-year cost savings, favorable payment terms, and risk mitigation.
- Supplier Selection: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of supplier proposals, making data-backed recommendations to internal stakeholders for final supplier selection.
- Contract and Compliance Management
- Contract Digitization: Utilize the Coupa Contract Management module to draft, track, and manage all sourcing-related agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and security standards.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure that spend compliance adheres to the contracted terms (pricing, volume, quality) and that contracts are linked correctly to Purchase Orders (POs) in the system.
- Supplier Relationship: Partner with the Supplier Lifecycle team to ensure seamless transition of newly awarded suppliers into the automated onboarding and risk vetting process.
- Performance and Reporting
- Spend Analysis: Regularly analyze spend data within Coupa to identify new sourcing waves and monitor category performance against established baselines.
- Savings Tracking: Accurately track, report, and validate realized savings from sourcing initiatives using Coupa's reporting tools, aligning with Finance targets.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary procurement point of contact for internal business units, educating them on the Coupa Sourcing process and ensuring requirements are clearly defined before market engagement.
What You Will Bring to Coupa
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Category Management, with a focus on Indirect Spend.
- Hands-on experience using the Coupa modules.
- Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills required to influence senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
