We are seeking a proactive Strategic Sourcing Intern to join the Network Services team for the Summer 2026 internship. This role will support supplier onboarding, contract negotiations, spend and performance data analysis, and broad process optimization initiatives that drive value for Ericsson and our customers. You will gain hands-on experience across the full sourcing lifecycle and contribute to real-world projects.
What you will do:
  • Learn and perform end-to-end strategic sourcing and stakeholder management activities, including analyzing third-party spend to identify opportunities, developing category and project strategies, and managing the sourcing process (RFx, supplier negotiations, project management, contracting activities).
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate supplier pricing, terms, and operational metrics, and explore use cases for AI to enhance automation.
  • Create and improve visual dashboards using AI-powered tools to highlight spend patterns, savings opportunities, and process efficiencies.
  • Ensure supplier compliance through Ericsson's onboarding and contract processes; collaborate with suppliers to implement and monitor new requirements.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams at Ericsson, delivering strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Partner with other Ericsson organizations to drive value, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to procurement processes and policy compliance across the spend category.

What you will bring:
  • Degree focus in Business Analytics, Sourcing, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  • Active enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, Master's, or PhD program at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer term.
  • Relevant skills in Business Analysis, Sourcing, and Visualization.
  • Foundational knowledge of Procurement processes.
  • Change and Improvement Management capabilities.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of Telecom, Technology, and IT business concepts.
