Verily Life Sciences is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Lead to enable and accelerate Verily’s next phase of commercial growth, with a focus on the establishing and maintaining strategic partners with major technology organizations (such as those with NVIDIA). Reporting to the VP, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, you will join the team responsible for sourcing and interacting directly with prospective strategic partners, working to develop market making collaborations across our product portfolio and key customer segments. You will work cross functionally across each Verily commercial function and with various teams and colleagues across Verily. This role will require you to be flexible and nimble and aggressively grow the various business lines via Tech partnerships to help establish Verily as the premier solution.
ResponsibilitiesDefine and evolve the long-term Tech sector partnership strategy, focus on those that enable a strong integrated product offering with shared customers, joint go-to-market collaboration opportunities, and mutually beneficial product connections that generate new pipeline opportunities to accelerate Verily’s product and commercial velocity.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Tech sector strategic partnership portfolio, from initial thesis, joint commercialization efforts, and co-marketing. Collaborate with Commercial colleagues to drive new business through each strategic partner.
Work with Commercial and Verily senior leadership to define requirements for strategic opportunities, determine appropriateness and operational fit with existing strategy; develop, nurture and manage strategic partnerships to ensure they develop a continuous pipeline of new commercial opportunities.
Act as the key contact between commercial product, engineering, legal, and domain specific teams (e.g. clinical, science) to ensure partnership integrations are appropriate given existing product roadmaps, communicate the highest value market story,continually drive new revenue generation.
Monitor the pulse of AI/ML, data interoperability, and health-tech trends to ensure Verily remains the "partner of choice" in a rapidly consolidating market. Deliver market insights back into product development and commercial strategy.
Minimum qualifications
MBA and/or other advanced degree and 10+ years of high-stakes experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, or Strategic Partnerships within the Health-Tech or SaaS sectors.
Proven portfolio of managing large, complex partnerships or collaborations involving platform integrations, data-sharing ecosystems, co-commercialization/joint go-to-market strategy, and/or co-development agreements.
Numerous pre-existing and deep relationships across key decision-makers within the Tech and Health Tech space.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously lead multiple deals and complex deal structures with strong cross-functional leadership from inception to successful execution with strong strategic and analytical skill and ability to drive exploration into new and emerging areas using creative problem solving skills and executive-level engagement.
Comfort with ambiguity, with a desire to help teams achieve clarity and alignment, and a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience embedded within product-driven organizations, influencing roadmap prioritization through the lens of external collaboration.
Familiarity working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, startup-like environment.
Experience presenting and delivering succinct messages to external audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $263,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
