The Strategic Growth Associate is a key role within our organization, responsible for supporting senior growth executives in the execution of strategic sales initiatives. This role acts as a junior sales overlay and program management function, reporting to the Manager of Strategic Growth and working closely with our sales, marketing, and delivery teams. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with Senior Growth Executives on high-impact partnerships and accounts, particularly within the Private Equity channel. The Strategic Growth Associate will play a critical role in executing Mission Cloud's strategic growth program through program operations, market research, and sales enablement activities. Responsibilities
  • Execute GTM outreach and prospecting activities to identify and qualify new sales and partnership opportunities
  • Conduct market and competitive research using tools, including Pitchbook, to provide strategic insights
  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce CRM data, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities, partnerships, and customer interactions
  • Own communication channels with key customer and partner stakeholders to ensure proactive communication and follow-up activities
  • Prepare executive-level and operational reports on program KPIs, including pipeline metrics, partnership status, and growth initiatives
  • Assist Senior Growth Executives with sales-related activities, including meeting preparation, proposal support, and opportunity qualification
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities between sales, customer success, marketing, and delivery teams to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, playbooks, and best practices
  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations on Mission service offerings and competencies
  • Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in sales, operations, business development or related roles within the professional services, consulting, or cloud SaaS industries.
  • Direct experience with the Private Equity market preferred, either selling into PE value creation or supporting PE operating team or value creation function
  • High-energy, self-motivated with strong competitive mindset, intellectual curiosity and drive to take ownership of workstreams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Experience with Pitchbook or similar market research platforms is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create executive-level reports and presentations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience supporting sales teams or exposure to B2B sales processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification to be achieved within the first year of employment at Mission Cloud
  • Must be able and willing to manage up to 20% travel
