Airbnb is seeking MBA students to join the Finance organization as Strategic Finance & Analytics Interns for our 2026 Summer Intern Program.

At Airbnb, we believe finance is about more than numbers — it’s about enabling strategy, growth, and connection across the business. Our Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team partners with leaders across Airbnb to bring data-driven insights to life.

The Finance organization at Airbnb consists of distinct groups working on a diverse array of initiatives such as long-term strategic and financial planning, capital raising, financial and tax reporting, supplier management, construction of our office spaces, and more. 

 

A typical day:

As an intern, you’ll get first-hand experience on what it is like to be a Strategic Finance & Analytics Partner at Airbnb. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.

You can expect to:

  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
  • Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

Your expertise:

We’re excited to engage with  first-year MBA students (graduating Spring 2027) who are enrolled full-time at nationally-accredited U.S. business schools and bring the following skills and background:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience (financial planning & analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to define and execute projects independently.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
  • Robust quantitative abilities with a knack for analyzing complex data and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization (Tableau or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in time management and organization; adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated interest in high-growth, technology, or hospitality companies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred but not required:

  • Ability to conduct in-depth industry research and due diligence

Your expertise:

  • Strong organizational skills and process-oriented with the ability to define and execute projects with limited guidance and unclear scope
  • Experience forming strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders within and outside of finance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively through both written and verbal formats up to the executive level (e.g. Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, etc.)
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze complex data to distill insights and provide business recommendations
  • Experience with the following skills and tools: SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization, Tableau
  • Demonstrated interest in high growth, technology, and/or hospitality companies
  • Work authorization for employment in the United States is required 

Preferred but not required:

  • Ability to conduct in-depth industry research and due diligence

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
