About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven, commercially minded Strategic Deal & Enterprise Pricing Analyst to design, optimize, and execute high-impact pricing strategies and deal structures across our enterprise portfolio. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Pricing and Product to architect innovative deal frameworks that maximize value for our customers and our business.
This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, customer empathy, and operational execution. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise deal structuring—from early-stage modeling to contract execution—while ensuring pricing aligns with our overall business objectives.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Deal Support:
  • Partner with enterprise sales and account teams to develop tailored pricing strategies and commercial structures for complex, high-value deals.

  • Serve as the internal deal pricing quarterback, aligning cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Product, and Leadership.

  • Provide financial modeling and scenario planning to assess tradeoffs and optimize deal value.

Pricing Strategy & Governance:
  • Design and maintain enterprise pricing frameworks, discounting thresholds, and approval workflows under the direction of the Deal Desk Director.

  • Recommend updates to pricing guardrails to support scalable and profitable growth

  • Analyze deal win/loss trends, pricing sensitivity, and customer feedback to inform ongoing pricing strategies.
     
Business Partnership & Analytics:
  • Deliver insights to senior leadership on deal performance, pricing effectiveness, and customer behavior.

  • Conduct regular reviews of enterprise pipeline and pricing performance; drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support executive decision-making with rigorous, data-backed recommendations.
     

Tools & Processes:
  • Work with BizTech and Go To Market teams to streamline quoting and pricing approval processes via tools like Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud and Advanced Approvals.

  • Drive automation and efficiency in deal desk pricing operations and contract lifecycle management.

  • Update and create pricing models and calculators in Excel/Google Sheets.
     

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in strategic finance, deal desk, pricing strategy, or enterprise sales operations—preferably in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise tech environment.

  • Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to simplify complex commercial decisions.

  • Experience negotiating or structuring complex B2B enterprise contracts.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence sales and senior leadership.

  • Understanding of SaaS economics (ARR, TCV, LTV, CAC, etc.) and enterprise procurement dynamics.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, ThoughtSpot, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, Excel/Google Sheets

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000 - $139,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
