Seeking an exceptionally talented professional to join us as Strategic Account Manager

As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.

About Role:

The Business Strategic Account Manager is a senior field sales position who works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve growth objectives in the territory. This person builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions in the territory.

You will work independently to solidify customer and supplier relationships through strategic meetings, application and design assistance, and product demonstrations, through maintaining strong market intelligence, product knowledge and awareness of local competitive conditions; and will provide prompt reporting to the operations teams.

Key Activities:

  • Meet and/or exceed annual goals (bookings, gross profit dollar and gross profit percentage)
  • Provide Sales, Marketing and Application Engineering coverage in an assigned area
  • Provide customers with basic design assistance and basic product demonstrations
  • Maintain professionalism, customer service level agreements and customer focus while building strategic partnerships with potential and existing Incora accounts
  • Develop and maintain partnering relationships with Incora key suppliers
  • Identify and qualify opportunities
  • Effectively communicate status of current customer activities and/or the status of new prospects, throughout Incora organization
  • Participate in joint sales calls with Sales Director, as necessary Submit periodic sales reports and expenses as required, and within adherence to applicable policies and budgetary allowances
  • Attend regularly scheduled and impromptu Sales/Operations meetings and company-sponsored training, meetings, and events, as required.
  • Pipeline Management through Incora’s CRM system
  • Work in concert with Product Management, inside sales and Strategic Account Managers to implement sales strategies and achieve stated goals
  • Facilitate customer strategy sessions on a regular basis
  • Travel for customer development is to be expected (estimated 1-2 wks / month)

About You:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business is preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Experience with Electronics Products (electromechanical & interconnect) – working knowledge of Incora’s supplier distribution network and other major suppliers globally is desired.
  • 5 years minimum Industrial / Aerospace Industry Sales experience
  • Relationships – track record of building and maintaining top level relationships at key customers and suppliers.
  • Proven sales growth in territory
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customer.
