James Martin Vanities is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Strategic Account Manager to drive our business. This position will play a pivotal role in driving category growth, assuming responsibility for a set budget and sales goal. Through innovative sales strategies and keen market insights, the role will contribute to increasing revenue and positioning the James Martin Vanities Brand for success.

Location: While this role is approved to be Remote anywhere in the United States, our ideal candidate would be located in the Atlanta market or hybrid out of South Bend, IN where James Martin Vanities HQ is located.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans
  • Collaborate on execution of plans for regional markets in alignment with growth strategy
  • Planning and preparation of business proposals and making recommendations to senior management
  • Work closely with JMV External Sales Rep Agencies to assist in driving growth
  • Work cross-functionally with other sister company brands and corporate team members to help provide solutions to the customers
  • Lead all aspects of the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business deals
  • Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets
  • Develop new processes to meet project needs, and for designing projects to suit the financial and operating criteria of a project
  • Balance several customer needs and projects at one time to help support the sales channel
  • Prepare documents and materials (for example, reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and discussions with potential clients and business partners so that the information provided is accurate and appropriate for external distribution
  • Maintain contact with the key decision makers internally and externally
  • May assist with special analysis in areas such as operational efficiency, market penetration and profitability
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ of sales experience is required, experience with National Accounts preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree, however, equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • Proven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospects
  • Passion for excellent customer service and strive to exceed sales targets
  • Outstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • Good eye for business and high integrity
  • Ability to make effective presentations and project recommendations
  • Valid driver’s license required, role requires regular travel to customer HQ or jobsite locations as well as participation in customer/vendor lunch and learn sessions as well as customer events or trade shows
  • Proficient use of technology to drive business results, ability to adjust and ramp up on new software programs quickly (Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, CRM, ERP Systems, etc.)

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,175.00 - $9,716.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
