We are building a high powered sales organization and are currently looking for an Enterprise Account Executive who can find, support, and grow our largest customers and continue to challenge them to increase in-app chat adoption as part of their core user experience in various use cases. We expect you to develop your leads, transform the imagination of customers and developers, close, and grow strategic mega-deals. We value a tenacious work ethic and being relentlessly resourceful. This role must be on-site 3 days per week per our hybrid work policy.

Who You Are

  • Own your area of responsibility, engaging with and conducting the wider organization to ensure our continued regional success and attainment of significant new business revenue
  • Handle a mix of 50% Inbound, 20% SDR, and 30% self-generated meetings to successfully meet and exceed your quota.
  • Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  • Be an expert in the Sendbird proposition and your prospect’s business, create custom presentations, and work with Sales Engineering to present according to known requirements from your prospects and customers.
  • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with customer resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Manage and grow any accounts you are responsible for increasing traction and awareness and ultimately net new ARR
  • Represent Sendbird at customer on-sites, industry events, and deliver speaking engagements as necessary to promote the Sendbird brand and message as and when suitable
  • Report and forecast accurately, deliver internal business reviews

What You Will Do

  • Identify our next biggest customers
  • Use proven methodologies to gain traction and ultimately win significant new logos
  • Work with Sales Development Representatives to target and prospect
  • Manage and grow any accounts you are responsible for increasing traction and awareness and ultimately net new ARR
  • Use your extensive relationships and networking skills to win and upsell new and existing accounts
  • Be an expert in the Sendbird proposition and your prospect’s business, create custom presentations, and work with Sales Engineering to present according to known requirements from your prospects and customers.
  • Represent Sendbird at industry events, host customers, and deliver speaking engagements as necessary to promote the Sendbird brand and message as and when suitable
  • Report and forecast accurately, deliver internal business reviews, and ensure  
  • Feedback internally on how we can improve and be comfortable pushing for change

What You Bring

  • Technology field face to face sales experience working with developers and product managers
  • Experience in identifying significant, new, and compelling opportunities within large and/or fast-growing organizations 
  • Demonstrated ability to close large complex sales opportunities
  • Able to orchestrate around significant opportunities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Understanding of SDK/API business and/or a quick learner in B2B technology product space

Added Value

  • Experience selling cloud-based and/or middle-ware solutions to developers and product managers
  • Experience in vertical industries (communities, live-streaming, on-demand, e-commerce, gaming, etc.)
  • Experience being a product manager for mobile applications
  • Established network with large digital 1st organizations and/or System Integrators.

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.  To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.   A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $250,000 - $295,000.  This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market.  We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
