About the Role

We are hiring a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business across the largest credit unions in the country. You will own the full sales cycle for Clutch's digital lending, account opening, and AI product suite, selling into complex, multi-stakeholder environments where the deals are bigger, the cycles are longer, and the impact is transformational. This is a high-autonomy, high-reward role for a seller who can navigate executive buying committees, build compelling business cases, and close six- and seven-figure platform deals.

About the Team

You will join a high-performing GTM organization that includes five Strategic AEs, a dedicated SDR, Sales Engineering, RevOps, and Marketing — all laser-focused on winning the credit union market. The team operates with a consultative, partnership-driven approach, working closely with strategic partners like TruStage to create joint value propositions. We are backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), moving fast, and building the category-defining platform for credit union digital transformation.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Ramp on Clutch's full product suite (digital lending, account opening, AI), value propositions, and competitive positioning

  • Develop a deep understanding of how large credit unions buy, evaluate, and implement technology

  • Build your territory plan and begin outbound prospecting into your named accounts

  • Run your first discovery calls and product demos alongside Sales Engineering

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Own and progress multiple strategic opportunities through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Deliver tailored business cases and ROI models to VP and C-level decision-makers

  • Represent Clutch at industry events, conferences, and credit union league meetings

  • Collaborate with TruStage and other partners to create joint pipeline and co-sell into shared accounts

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Consistently build and maintain a pipeline of 3x+ your quota target

  • Close net-new strategic deals and forecast accurately against your quarterly targets

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior credit union executives, influencing their digital transformation roadmaps

  • Contribute to GTM strategy through market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into enterprise or strategic accounts with deal sizes of $200K+

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in complex, consultative sales environments

  • Experience selling to senior executives (VP, SVP, C-suite) and navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees

  • Strong discovery, business case development, and negotiation skills — you sell on value, not price

  • Comfort with longer sales cycles (6–9 months) that require strategic account planning, multi-threading, and executive alignment

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or credit union/banking technology is strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with MEDDPIC, Sandler, or similar enterprise sales methodologies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills

  • High ownership mindset — you operate with urgency and accountability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Willingness to travel 35–45% for prospect meetings, industry events, and partner road trips

  • Proficient with AI tools: Claude, ChatGPT

Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
