IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a part-time Standards Aligner to join our content development team. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning IXL math content to state and international educational standards, sections of widely-adopted textbooks, and other curriculum resources. These alignments will be used by teachers across the nation and around the world to design their lessons and track their students’ progress. #LI-REMOTE
This is a 1099 consulting role that is remote for 6 months with possible extension.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Accurately interpret state educational standards and curriculum documents
- Identify the IXL skills that best help students meet the goals of each standard or textbook section
- Analyze progressions of skills and standards across grade levels
- Format alignments as Google spreadsheets
- Assist in researching state and international education standards
- Collaborate with curriculum designers to determine the best possible alignments
- Incorporate and apply feedback to complete revisions as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in math, education, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
- Strong knowledge of K-12 educational terminology and math content
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Clear and consistent communication skills
