About the role:
The Internal Developer Platforms Team‘s mission to accelerate engineering velocity across the company by delivering world-class internal tooling, environments, and AI-enhanced workflows. This team focuses on developing and supporting robust, scalable environments for developers, including local, testing, and ephemeral setups. Members of this team will drive adoption of AI-driven tools designed to minimize obstacles and maximize developer innovation.
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Internal Developer Platform Team and help us develop and advance the platforms used to accelerate development workflows, power scalable environments, and integrate AI-enhanced tooling across the engineering organization. As a member of the Internal Developer Platforms Team, you would have the opportunity to:
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms that power local development, automated testing, and ephemeral environments.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered tools (e.g., code generation, test automation, intelligent code reviews) to enhance developer workflows.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, developer productivity, and security teams to ensure smooth CI/CD, environment provisioning, and compliance.
- Own the lifecycle of environment tooling — from developer onboarding to production mirroring.
- Monitor usage, collect feedback, and continuously improve the developer experience across the organization.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in internal tooling, reliability, and performance.

- You have four or more years of experience in a software or infrastructure engineering industry
- You have experience operating services in production and at scale.
- You’re comfortable with the idea of using Go as your primary programming language.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understand how to build scalable development/test environments, and have worked with ephemeral environments or preview deployments.
- Experience with KubeVirt, KataContainers is a plus.
- Are familiar or interested in AI/ML-powered developer tools (e.g., code suggestion, IDE tooling).
- Is passionate about improving the developer experience and enabling other engineers to do their best work.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from TBDDD annually. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, level, and experience.

The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $188,000 to $275,000 and $207,000 to $293,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
