Description
Why join us?
General Motors is transforming into a software-driven company, building vehicles that are intelligent, personalized, and continuously improving over time. As software and data become central to the driving experience, customer profiles play a critical role in enabling personalization, continuity, and integration across the vehicle ecosystem.
Our Software & Services Product Management team is building foundational platforms that power these experiences at scale. This role sits at the center of that transformation-defining how customer profiles function inside the vehicle and how they enable differentiated, data-driven experiences.
The Role
As Staff Product Manager - In-Vehicle Customer Profile , you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for how customer profiles function within the vehicle. This role focuses on the capabilities, data, and behaviors of a customer profile.
You will own the product vision and roadmap for the in-vehicle customer profile as a functional platform, including how it stores and manages customer data, how it evolves based on vehicle usage, and how it integrates with other products, services, and applications. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, privacy, security, and partner product teams to enable scalable, compliant, and extensible profile capabilities that support personalization across GM's vehicle ecosystem.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, understands vehicle development, and is comfortable setting long-term vision while also delivering incremental value in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
