About the Role:
Fetch is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Receipt Intelligence to own and evolve our core receipt intelligence systems, including product catalog infrastructure, receipt scanning, and product matching across physical and digital transaction data.
This role sits within Core ML Products and is part of the team that processes over 4 billion receipts and $212 billion dollars in transactional data, which serves as the backbone for revenue growth, partner measurement, personalization, and AI-native experiences.
You will be responsible for translating our Scan, Match and Catalog business strategy into shippable, measurable product capabilities that improve match accuracy, expand catalog intelligence, accelerate onboarding of new brands and verticals, and reduce time-to-market for new integrations.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong product judgment, comfort working with ML systems, and the ability to balance revenue impact, data integrity, and platform scalability.
You’ll be joining Fetch at a pivotal moment, as new technologies and tooling transform how we build, integrate, and scale our products.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for receipt intelligence, product matching, and catalog enrichment aligned to company strategic goals.
- Translate match rate and catalog goals into clear requirements, milestones, and measurable impact on revenue and retention.
- Drive initiatives that increase $GMV match rate at a specificity to drive user rewards and partner insights and measurement.
- Partner with ML and Engineering to ship scalable matching improvements, including: LLM-powered matching frameworks, increasing match rate across key retailers, and improving match-specificity
- Lead initiatives to modernize catalog systems, including brand automation, agentic workflows, and attribute enrichment
- Ensure catalog infrastructure supports forecasting, targeting, personalization, AI-driven products.
- Own the long-term health of receipt intelligence systems, including metric stability, regression detection, reducing false positives, and early warning signals for quality degradation.
- Lead cross-functional alignment on definitions of match quality, correctness, and acceptable error, and ensure these definitions are reflected in metrics, evaluation, and launch criteria.
- Act as a strong product partner to ML Engineering, Data & Analytics, Revenue/GTM, Fraud & Support
- Clearly communicate tradeoffs between precision, velocity, and scalability.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 3+ years building data-intensive or ML-powered systems.
- Experience working on marketplace, commerce, transaction processing, or high-scale data products.
- Technical fluency in ML systems, probabilistic matching, model evaluation, and data pipelines.
- Proven ability to translate model metrics (precision, recall, false positives) into business outcomes (ARR, retention, partner trust).
- Strong product judgment in balancing speed, accuracy, scalability, and maintenance overhead.
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can drive clarity in complex, aging systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Experience leveraging LLMs or automation to accelerate product velocity is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in complex, legacy systems while incrementally modernizing architecture without disrupting revenue-critical workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
