This product manager will support the director of product in defining, building and executing against the roadmap. This role will report to the Director of Product, B2B. This is an exciting time for Renew Home. You should apply if the following define you:

  • Ability to look into an ambiguous opportunity space and start running without day-to-day direction.
  • Ability to prioritize in a data and insight driven way that helps to align the broader organization to ensure clear focus. This includes forming strong opinions that you will change as the data changes.
  • A desire to build the next generation of energy services products that delight customers and deliver what the industry needs.
  • You are energized by meeting with partners to deeply understand their needs and you have experience turning their needs - not just their requests - into a roadmap and launched/landed products.

What You Will Do

  • Solving challenges and opportunities across a diverse set of VPP experiences through OEM partners.
  • Translating those opportunities into tangible features.
  • Drive a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product marketers, and business development and sales leads to execute against the roadmap balancing impact, scale and both business and end customer experiences.
  • Launch and land OEM features that help bring to life the next era of virtual power plants in the US.
  • Translate learnings from previously-launched efforts into actionable future projects and opportunities.
  • Be part of a scaling organization with exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in the B2B energy or OEM space.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, etc.
  • Experience managing product discovery, roadmaps, and execution.
  • Experience developing products or programs in the energy, connected home, or adjacent industries.
  • Comfort and eagerness to engage with a wide variety of partners; you get energy from partner discussions that deliver new insights.
  • Desire to be part of a fast-moving culture with ambitious goals.
  • Bonuses:
    • Experience specifically with grid services for B2B energy customers.
    • Experience with the intersection of consumer hardware and software services.
    • Experiences working with technical, algo-driven products.

Benefits

What You'll Get

  • A full-time position, with a competitive salary based on experience. The base salary for this role is: $175k - $225k.
  • Fully remote work environment with home office set-up allowance.
  • Real and lived work-life balance - Company perks include no pre-set vacation limits (with a top-down culture of taking meaningful PTO every year!), parental leave benefits, and a corporate value of working sustainably and putting families first.
  • Competitive benefits package that includes numerous health and wellness benefits.
  • 401(k) plan, with employer contributions to the same.
  • Opportunity to work with amazing people who are passionate about their mission, thriving in a fully-remote work environment, and learning and growing every day.
