The Senior Product Manager will lead collaboration products at Runway, focusing on enhancing creative workflows, managing strategic vision, and working closely with cross-functional teams.
The summary above was generated by AI

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.

Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

*Open to hiring remote across the US — preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco.

Storytelling is one of the most fundamentally human things we do. For most of history, turning that impulse into something real required resources, tools, and training that most people never had. That’s changing — and Runway is building the platform at the center of that shift.

We’re looking for a Senior PM to join the Core Product team and lead collaboration product. You’ll own the surfaces where creative teams come together inside Runway: how work is shared, reviewed, and refined across a production.

The role is for someone who cares as much about how a team works as what they make. You’ll bring a clear perspective on what creatives need, a high bar for quality, and the judgment to make good calls in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll stay close to users, develop sharp intuitions about what’s missing from their workflows, and work with a tight cross-functional team to raise the bar on what creative collaboration can be.

What you’ll do
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Runway's collaboration surfaces

  • Work closely with design, engineering, and research to build delightful experiences that accelerate creative workflows

  • Talk to users constantly and develop sharp intuitions about what's missing from their workflows

  • Define what success looks like, ship fast, and iterate on real signal

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to land strong launches

What you’ll need
  • 5-8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping high-quality features and workflows that users rely on

  • You think about the full arc of how someone uses a product, from first session to long-term habit, and you design accordingly

  • You set clear success criteria before you build, run experiments that teach you something real, and know the difference between signal and noise

  • You can zoom out to a 12-month vision and zoom in to a two-week sprint without losing the thread between them

  • You write and speak with clarity, and you're good at bringing teams along on a direction

Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.

There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.

Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
