Collaborate with various Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Units groups to define and validate product specifications and requirements for next-generation memory devices. Support design verification through in-depth circuit analysis using CAD tools and simulations. Create internal architecture documentation based on schematics and layout knowledge. Understand JEDEC specifications to ensure product requirements. Develop a validation flow to identify design marginalities and recommend fixes for circuit-related issues. Conduct electrical failure analysis to understand the root cause of device marginalities or failures. Utilize engineering lab equipment and testers for device characterization and electrical failure analysis. Support reliability and qualification activities to ensure lifetime device performance. Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize test yield and ramp products into high volume. May telecommute part time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
1. DRAM or Silicon IC architecture, operation, testing, design, and process;
2. Circuit-level simulation: Verilog or Analog;
3. Cadence schematics and layout;
4. Shell scripts: Perl, Unix, Batch, or Python;
5. Data analysis and visualization software: JMP, Tableau, MATLAB, or equivalent;
6. DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodology for identifying potential failures in a product's design;
7. Project Management Software: JIRA, Confluence, or Agile Database;
8. Product validation experience with DRAM or Silicon IC's; and
9. Failure Analysis and ATE testing.
