Mission

Your mission at Origin is to design intuitive, AI-driven experiences that turn user insights and financial data into actionable recommendations. You’ll lead an end-to-end design process, combining research, benchmarking, and world-class design standards to create seamless, impactful user experiences. Collaborating across teams, you’ll transform complex financial information into polished, high-quality interfaces that empower users to understand, act, and grow with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to deliver AI-driven, insights-focused user experiences.
• Translate research insights, user behavior data, and AI capabilities into clear and intuitive design solutions.
• Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that simplify complex financial data and drive engagement.
• Develop polished, high-fidelity visual designs that align with our brand, with a focus on clarity, scalability, and ease of use.
• Advocate for intuitive UX that turns AI insights into actionable and empowering experiences for users.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design accuracy and seamless implementation.
• Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions, incorporating user feedback to refine and improve experiences.
• Effectively communicate design rationale to stakeholders, aligning designs with user needs, business goals, and AI-driven opportunities.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and documentation to ensure consistency across products.
• Drive innovation in the use of AI and insights within the product, solving challenges with creative and scalable solutions.

Must Have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, delivering high-quality digital experiences.
• Previous experience designing for fintech or data-rich products, particularly ones focused on AI, insights, or financial platforms.
• Strategic product thinking with a strong ability to translate complex concepts into simple, user-centered solutions.
• Evidence of a robust design process, including user research, wireframes, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Proactive self-starter capable of independently driving projects forward, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Effective in a remote setting and able to prioritize asks as they come through.
• Fluent or native-level English skills.
