Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a connector across NCXD, helping teams align, share learnings, and elevate the influence and effectiveness of design. 

  • Translate ambiguity into clear experience visions, frameworks, and actionable plans by rapidly building context, synthesizing insights, and driving impact. 

  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, shape product strategy, and bring member-centered experiences to life.

  • Untangle a complex problem and simplify into an easy-to-understand, user-centered design approach

  • Create scalable systems, patterns, and reusable approaches that extend beyond individual projects.

  • Innovate to meet new business and member needs while designing for scale.

  • Articulate the experience vision through strong visual storytelling to drive alignment.

  • Facilitate collaborative work sessions with all levels of company stakeholders.

  • Be a fierce advocate for our members from around the world.

Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience designing user experiences for consumer-facing products

  • Exceptional communication skills, in writing and verbally, whether in small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or with executives

  • Known for high-quality craft and detailed execution of designing patterns for discovery and engagement across multiple UI platforms. 

  • Experience collaborating with merchandising, marketing and content teams on promotion strategies and campaigns

  • Demonstrated success in driving 0-1 initiatives forward

  • Strategic thinker who can articulate a compelling product vision

  • Demonstrated ability to create organizational leverage through systems, frameworks, reusable patterns, and cross-team influence.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across multiple initiatives and business domains, balancing depth, breadth, and impact.

  • Actively explores and adopts new tools, workflows, and AI technologies to increase individual and organizational effectiveness.

  • Ability to dive into a space, gather context, synthesize, and make impact quickly

  • Demonstrates great judgement on asking the right questions and determining the work that needs to be done to push the business forward.

  • Is a fierce advocate for the user, and has the courage to speak up and influence 

  • Skilled at connecting the dots across related initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and distilling complex, unstructured opportunities into actionable roadmaps that integrate user, technology, and business needs

  • Proven ability to deal with requirements from various teams, while not losing sight of long-term experience goals

  • Known for high-quality craft and detailed execution of designing patterns for discovery and engagement across multiple UI platforms.

  • Great at receiving and giving feedback

This role is based in UCAN, ideally on the west or east coasts. Expect to travel monthly to meet with your teams, stakeholders, and partners.


Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $460,000.00 - $710,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
