Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your roleWe are looking for a highly experienced and autonomous Staff Product Designer to join our team, driving high-impact initiatives within our CRM product domain while serving as the primary architect for our mobile experience.
This role is unique because it requires a "hybrid" mindset. First, you are a key Product Designer within our CRM team. You will partner with our existing design staff to tackle complex workflow challenges, designing dense data visualizations, relationship management tools, and deal workflows for our desktop web platform.
Second, you are the builder of our Mobile foundation. While you contribute to the broader CRM product, you will take the lead on translating our web-based design system into a native mobile component library. You will build, organize, and maintain the Figma components that other designers will use, ensuring that as our CRM scales, our mobile experience remains robust, native, and high-quality.
You will act as the bridge between platforms, ensuring that the power of our desktop software is elegantly translated into a handheld experience.
This role would benefit from in-person collaboration in San Francisco, where many of our product management, design, and engineering personnel are based, although we also welcome exceptional candidates from elsewhere in the United States and Canada.
What you’ll doAs a Staff Product Designer, you will move seamlessly between defining strategic vision and driving tactical execution. Your responsibilities will include:
Own the end-to-end design process for critical workflows within the CRM domain. You will work alongside other designers to evolve the product, ensuring features are powerful on the desktop and accessible on mobile.
You will act as the "Mobile Captain" for the design organization. You will build and maintain the mobile component library in Figma, creating the foundational patterns (navigation, inputs, lists, etc.) that enable other teams to ship mobile features with speed and consistency.
Take on the most challenging, multi-faceted problems in the CRM domain. You will design solutions for dense data synthesis and heavy workflows on the web, and determine the appropriate "translation" for the mobile companion app.
Define the long-term vision for how our CRM evolves across devices. You will decide which workflows require full desktop fidelity and which are best suited for "on-the-go" mobile execution, ensuring the two platforms work in harmony.
Produce a high volume of quality work, from complex desktop wireframes and logic flows to pixel-perfect mobile UI specifications.
Design and lead high-leverage research initiatives to uncover deep user needs, validating strategic bets for both the office-based power user and the traveling executive.
7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, owning and shipping products through the entire development lifecycle.
You must show experience designing B2B, or Enterprise SaaS applications for desktop/web (CRM, FinTech, Data Visualization, or similar).
Proven ability to design the same feature for both Desktop and Mobile. You must demonstrate how you translate complex web workflows into intuitive mobile interfaces without losing functionality.
Experience building and organizing component libraries in Figma. You must be capable of constructing robust mobile components (using variants, auto-layout, and variables) that other designers can use.
Expert-level knowledge of iOS and Android Human Interface Guidelines and experience shipping native mobile products.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and operate autonomously, consistently delivering high-quality results without requiring significant direction..
Experience contributing to a centralized Design System (documentation, pattern definition, governance).
Experience designing user interfaces and workflows for AI/ML-driven features (e.g., proactive suggestions, generative summaries).
Experience in the Financial Services, Investment Management, or Real Estate industries.
Familiarity with interpreting usage analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) to identify product opportunities.
