The Staff Network Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and operating highly reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions that support our global corporate network infrastructure.
This role requires deep expertise across routing, switching, wireless, cloud, and security, combined with a forward-looking mindset around automation and AI-driven operations. You will play a critical role in building intelligent, resilient networks while solving complex challenges at a global scale.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $146,200 - $255,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.

What You'll Do:
- Design, build, and operate a global enterprise network spanning campus, branch, data center, and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead corporate wireless strategy using Juniper Mist to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences.
- Design scalable Juniper switching, routing, and SD-WAN architectures built for resilience and growth.
- Architect and manage cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud including hybrid connectivity models.
- Design and implement network security solutions leveraging Palo Alto, Zscaler, micro-segmentation, and NAC.
- Deploy and support application delivery infrastructure including load balancers, WAF, and CDN technologies.
- Configure and support DDI services - DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
- Build automation workflows and API integrations across network and cloud platforms.
- Lead the observability strategy, enabling the transition to proactive, AI-driven network operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business and technical objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Define and maintain network standards, design documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor engineers and elevate technical excellence across the organization.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale enterprise network environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Juniper Mist wireless, routing, switching, and SD-WAN platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching protocols and high-availability network architectures.
- Experience working in multi-vendor environments including Juniper, Cisco, and Arista.
- Strong experience with network security technologies including Palo Alto and Zscaler.
- Experience with load balancing platforms such as Avi, F5, and Citrix, and edge security including WAF and CDN.
- Experience with cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and hybrid connectivity models.
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced industry certifications in two or more of: Juniper, Palo Alto, Zscaler, or AWS/Azure/GCP networking.
- Experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and network-as-code operating models.
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform for workflow automation and integrations.
