Staff Frontend Engineer (Platform)

Responsibilities

• Build and Own Shared Frontend Libraries – Create and maintain reusable frontend components and libraries that speed up development and maintain consistency across teams.

• Enhance Frontend Testing & CI Pipelines – Lead test automation using Playwright and Maestro while streamlining CI pipelines for speed and reliability.

• Own Frontend Performance & Architecture – Drive frontend optimization by reducing bundle sizes and improving rendering efficiency for better user experience.

• Improve and Maintain the Design System – Keep the Design System robust, performance, well-documented, and effectively integrated with frontend workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience with strong frontend development focus, including:

  • React & TypeScript - Component architecture, state management, and performance optimization

  • Styled-components - CSS-in-JS for scalable styling

  • Data fetching, caching, and state management

• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms

• English language proficiency

Nice to Have

• Experience in blockchain-based projects

The target base salary for this role will range between $180,000 to $220,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
