Dragos is on a relentless mission to defend industrial organizations that provide us with the necessities of modern civilization; running water, functioning electricity, and safe industrial working environments. As the market leader in ICS/OT Cybersecurity, we are dedicated to arming our customers with best-in-class technology, threat intelligence, and services to protect their systems as effectively and efficiently as possible. We’re a remote-first culture with operations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. We’re looking for mission-oriented teammates who embody our core values of authenticity, transparency, and trust. Are you ready to make a difference? Come join a mission that can save the world!

About the Role:

Dragos is seeking a Staff Front End Engineer to join a Product Team in building the leading OT Security Platform. We work in a matrix-style engineering organization, which means you will be part of the UI Community while embedded within a product team. As a Staff Engineer, you will go beyond feature delivery. You will architect and evolve scalable systems, set UI standards, and mentor engineers across teams to ensure Dragos delivers best-inclass experiences at scale.
At Dragos, we don’t hire engineers whose only mission is to write code. We hire product engineers who thrive on solving hard problems, care deeply about customer outcomes, and raise the bar for those around them. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, breaking down barriers, and influencing technical direction across the organization while staying rooted in our mission to protect critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and evolving scalable UI frameworks and product subsystems that support growth of the Dragos Platform.
  • Driving technical strategy and setting standards for performance, testing, and maintainability across the UI Community.
  • Leading cross-team initiatives to improve workflows, tooling, and platform reliability.
  • Partnering with Product and Design to align system-level architecture with user experience goals.
  • Coding, testing, and debugging critical applications while guiding engineering teams on best practices.
  • Reviewing designs and implementations across multiple teams to ensure technical quality.
  • Championing accessibility, performance optimization, and user-centered design at scale.
  • Mentoring engineers across the UI Community and helping shape its technical direction

Qualifications:

  • 6–8+ years of experience with modern front-end stacks (React, TypeScript, Redux, etc.).
  • Proven experience architecting scalable systems and leading technical direction for frontend applications.
  • Actively use AI-assisted development tools and set expectations for their effective, secure, and scalable adoption across teams to raise overall engineering efficiency and quality.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization and scalable UI architecture.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and influencing engineers across teams.
  • Experience with build tools (Vite, Turbo, Rollup, Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jest, RTL, Playwright).

Compensation:

  • Salary: $192,000
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan
