About the Role
You will be joining a SaaS-oriented product team building applications and tools for OT Security Operations teams to conduct threat hunts, operate more efficiently against adversaries, and explore the wide range of data that only Dragos uniquely collects. You will be instrumental in developing the data infrastructure that powers our cloud-based threat intelligence platform and community defense initiatives. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of cloud-native data systems and medium-scale data processing, with a proven ability to build scalable infrastructure that enables our SaaS offerings and supports industrial organizations in their cybersecurity efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medium-scale, complex data sets that meet business requirements for our SaaS-oriented platforms purpose built for Security Operations teams.
- Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines and architectures on AWS.
- Build data infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading from industrial control system data sources.
- Develop data integration capabilities that connect our SaaS platform with customer environments and third-party security tools.
- Create data tools and APIs that enable product features and analytics capabilities.
- Develop and maintain Go, JVM-family, Python, and/or Node.js services for cloud-based threat intelligence products.
- Implement real-time data processing solutions for threat detection and analysis capabilities.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver data solutions that enhance customer-facing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data pipelines.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience with 3-5 years building and optimizing medium-to-large scale data pipelines and cloud-based data sets.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services for data processing, storage, and analytics.
- Software development skills in Go, JVM-family, Python, and/or Node.js languages with cloud-native architectures.
- Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from medium-to-large scale datasets, especially relevant if cybersecurity or industrial data.
- Experience integrating cloud and on-premises technologies in industrial environments, particularly deployed on k8s and docker based infrastructure.
- Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable cloud data stores for medium-to-large scale workloads.
- Detailed domain familiarity and prior experience in at least one data-heavy field / product market segment, especially relevant if knowledgeable in cybersecurity threat detections, threat intelligence, or ICS/OT operations.
