C&C Container Service is a trusted local provider of roll-off containers and waste management solutions for residential, commercial and construction customers. As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to support our accounting and financial reporting remotely.
Job Summary
The Staff Accountant handles a variety of accounting tasks including reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing financial data, and contributing to a smooth remote finance operation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams as needed
- Provide accounting support for special projects
Qualifications
- Previous accounting experience required
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Comfortable using accounting software and spreadsheets
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
