THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a Staff Accountant to play a key role in scaling our financial operations. You will partner closely with the Controller in partnership to help build best practice accounting processes and procedures for Cyera’s global footprint. This position offers an exciting chance to join a thriving organization and contribute to the forefront of data security, making a significant impact on the protection of data for numerous global enterprises.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, and reconciling payments.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- General Ledger Support: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring proper classification of transactions.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process by ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled, and provide any necessary documentation for management review.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and assist in preparing for audits.
- Assist with Special Projects: Support finance team initiatives, including process improvements, system integrations, and other accounting-related tasks as needed
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of accounting experience, handling accounting responsibilities/functions
- Experience with Excel and G Suite
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Interest in a role with wide scope in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
- Preference for candidates to be located near our US office hubs: NYC, CHI, STL, DFW, SF
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
