Overview
Join the Training Services team as a Sr. Training Sales Enablement Specialist and play a pivotal role in empowering our training sales organization. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering impactful enablement programs that equip our training sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to succeed. This role partners closely with training sales, training marketing, and sales operations to ensure alignment and drive performance across the entire sales lifecycle.
Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Charlotte, NC area for this position.
Responsibilities
- Empower Sales Teams. Develop and deliver internal enablement programs that align with each stage of the sales process and each product line. Provide ongoing enablement resources and support to Training Consultants (TCs) and Sales Managers to strengthen performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design Onboarding Experiences. Define and implement an onboarding program that accelerates ramp-up time for new sales hires. Create onboarding resources that are engaging, accessible, and tailored to role-specific needs.
- Create Enablement Collateral. Produce high-impact enablement materials such as playbooks, guides, templates, and case studies to support customer conversations and deal progression.
- Deliver Engaging Training. Design and facilitate internal enablement training through diverse formats including videos, live sessions, and interactive workshops. Promote peer learning and best practice sharing through forums, panels, and community-building efforts.
- Drive Tool Adoption. Contribute to enablement and change management initiatives to ensure effective use of sales tools and technologies. Partner with Sales Operations to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Align Sales and Marketing. Collaborate with Training Sales and Marketing teams to ensure sales content (e.g., flyers, case studies) is aligned with selling needs and is delivered to sales employees in an effective manner. Maintain a feedback loop to foster a creative and collaborative environment with marketing.
- Measure Impact. Track and analyze enablement effectiveness using sales performance metrics and success case studies. Use insights to refine programs and demonstrate business impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, training, or related roles
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging internal enablement programs
- Strong understanding of sales processes and tools
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with coaching and mentoring sales professionals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s in business, organizational development, marketing, communications, or related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience with sales enablement platforms and CRM systems
- Familiarity with instructional design and adult learning principles
- Strong project management skills
- Background in change management or organizational development
