Job Description:

A Senior Technology Sourcing Manager is responsible for working with the Procurement Team to obtain cost savings within the organization, develop strategies to continuously improve procurement’s processes, rationalize vendor base, and be a key integral part of risk mitigation team along with Legal, ITSec, and Privacy. They are responsible for RFIs, RFQs, negotiations, market research, and vendor management. They also work with Legal Counsel on binding agreements that are favorable to the company and in compliance with laws and regulations, with IT Security and Privacy for risk identification and mitigation.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with and assist all internal teams and departments with support buying needs and ensure compliance with internal policies

  • Develop, manage, and implement Procurement and Vendor Management strategies based on allocated budgets

  • Prepare RFIs and RFQs and negotiate binding agreements with external vendors

  • Work with Legal to review and make recommendations on changes, additions, and deletions on binding agreements in addition to obtaining signatures

  • Collaborate with ITSec and Privacy to review and assess vendor risks

  • Participate in systems functionality testing

  • Develop and establish reports with regard to spend responsibility and ongoing projects

  • Driving proactive strategic sourcing approach with internal stakeholders to enable acquiring goods and services at the pace of business

Experience you’ll bring:

  • 8 – 10 years of Experience in Procurement, and/or Supply Chain and related fields

  • 6 – 8 years of Experience in the Indirect Technology Sourcing Categories in IT, Engineering, Public Cloud, Data Center, SaaS, AI, and other technology related categories

  • Experience with Coupa and NetSuite, SaaS Management Tools (Zylo, Productiv, etc.), Vendor Onboarding Systems (Graphite, Serta, etc.), G-Suite, MS Office

  • Experience in Technology Procurement including IT, Engineering, Cloud, Data Center, SaaS, AI

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail oriented and process driven

  • Strong negotiation skills, communication skills and a commitment to customer service

  • Ability to formulate function specific category strategy and be part of the main contributor for vendor strategy as well as driving Procurement policy compliance internally and externally

  • Curiosity mindset, Can-Do attitude, and Outcome bias mentality

Requirements:

  • BA degree Requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree.

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Pay Transparency:

The annual US base salary range for this role is $89,900 - $124,800 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
