The Senior Technical Implementation Engineer- Conversion is responsible for migrating data to Alkami Digital Banking Solutions. The engineer will be responsible for the relationship from project initiation to the support transition. During the implementation or merger projects, the engineer is responsible for tracking each conversion task related to the project, identifying any software tooling changes or bugs, and providing client support throughout the data migration process. Strong financial data expertise, emphasis on banking and credit union data, and the data relationship to Online Banking solutions. Proven and in-depth knowledge of multiple relational databases, data mapping, and T-SQL.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire implementation or merger project lifecycle, focusing on data mapping, data migration, and data lineage of Alkami’s digital solutions
Document the project summary along with risks and maintain a written Executive Summary report
Write clear client requirements and effectively design conversion activities to meet unique client needs
Proficient in data conversion activities, troubleshooting data exceptions, and making improvements as needed
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors
Participate in cross-functional initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration, client focus, and continuous improvement
Ability to handle client feedback, positive and negative, and maintain client satisfaction and client confidence
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, internal team members, and clients to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects
Conducts training sessions to instruct and guide external clients on changes, processes, and the Alkami platform
Participate in implementation backup rotation as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications
Required
Requires at least 5 years of data migration experience with banking and/or credit union data, with emphasis on commercial banking and credit union operations
Requires 5+ years of data mining or data mapping experience
Ability to participate in the entire implementation or merger project lifecycle, focusing on data mapping, data migration, and data lineage of Alkami digital solutions
5+ years of relational database experience (i.e. Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, etc)
5+ years of Identity Management software (i.e. Entrust, Okta, etc)
5+ years of Observability software experience (i.e. NewRelic, Grafana, etc)
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving mindset and attitude and willingness to take a variety of approaches
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Great written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present technical input to non-technical audiences
Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Project Managers, Program Managers, Technical Consultants, Product, and Engineering
Identify opportunities for process improvement with a focus on efficiency in processes and procedures
Ability to travel up to 30%
Ability to work nights and weekends
Preferred
Experience with fintech SaaS solutions
7+ years of experience with data mapping from multiple online banking solutions
