Position Summary:
The Sr. Strategic Account Executive is responsible for managing and developing named accounts within the Top 250 transportation companies for the Internet Truckstop Group (ITG) and its family of products. This position will have responsibility to manage the complete sales cycle process, up to and including prospecting, initial sales calls, evaluation, return on investment (ROI), request for proposal (RFP) and closing of the sale. The Sr. Strategic Account Executive will work closely with Customer Success, Sales engineers, Product Management, Integrations, and Product Marketing, and requires travel to network, prospect, and meet with current and potential customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Utilize personal knowledge and contacts within the transportation sector to develop and implement a sales plan to effectively sell ITG’s products and services to prospects
- Establish and nurture long relationships with named accounts
- Make telephone calls, host web meetings and visit in-person with existing and prospective customers
- Evaluate prospective customer’s needs using ITG’s products and services presentations, to include ROI information
- Identify opportunities and expand services within book of named accounts
- Develop clear written proposals to include sales quotes, summary of ROI and company efficiencies due to ITG’s products and services
- Finalize and close sales opportunities, develop implementation timelines, and work with customer success team to ensure ROIs are met
- Meet and exceed quota targets set for established book of named accounts
- Maintain a defined level of Net Retention for named accounts
- Be a leader within the team and share the most up to date industry topics
- This position will work closely with other departments within Truckstop, such as customer success, integrations, product management, product marketing, etc. to ensure that feedback from current and prospective customers is shared across departments and addressed as needed

Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six years in sales with a expert understanding of solutions selling to 3PL’s and carriers.
- Experience in selling SaaS software and related solutions, including transportation or logistics, content or other related technologies and services
- Ability to work as a satellite employee with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Adept at making presentations to both executive and technical audiences; as well as maintaining cooperative effective working relationships within company
- Ability to manage own time to meet individual quotas and department goals
- Excellentorganizational and computer skills
- Exceptional business acumen
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism, passion, ethics, confidence and commitment to meeting expectations as defined by leadership team

- Able to travel 40% or more of the year to attend multiple trade shows and meet with customers

Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
