- Partner with business stakeholders, functional leaders, and technology leadership to define program objectives, scope, and expected outcomes.
- Translate high-level business goals into clear functional requirements and delivery plans in collaboration with technical teams.
- Develop and maintain a multi-phase / multi-release (multi-generational) program roadmap aligned to measurable outcomes.
- Define execution methodologies, governance, and project management practices to be used across all projects within the program.
- Build and organize cross-functional project teams using internal and external technical/functional experts based on scope, budget, and timeline needs.
- Lead day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects, working directly with global technical teams to drive delivery.
- Coordinate workstreams to ensure alignment on approach, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Proactively identify and drive resolution of risks, issues, interdependencies, and roadblocks; partner with teams outside the core program to ensure required deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Manage scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle with appropriate governance and stakeholder alignment.
- Establish and maintain program operating cadence (status, planning, escalation, and decision forums).
- Provide clear, timely stakeholder communications and progress reporting across multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership and executives.
- Align expectations across business, technical, and functional partners to ensure transparency and timely decision-making.
- Ensure quality of deliverables is validated and meets stakeholder expectations, including acceptance criteria and release readiness.
- Track outcomes realization and customer satisfaction using defined metrics and service levels; ensure lessons learned and retrospective insights are captured and applied.
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, standards, and team execution effectiveness.
- Perform initial and final financial reviews and ensure ongoing budget planning and tracking across the program.
- Monitor spend, forecast, and financial risks; drive accountability to program financial targets.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technical program/project management, engineering delivery, or related roles (U.S. roles).
- For roles outside the U.S.: Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience.
- Proven experience applying project/program management methodologies to deliver measurable business value and drive enterprise change.
- Strong knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management methodologies with demonstrated success implementing shared standards across large organizations.
- Experience managing program budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and spend governance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes, align stakeholders, and mobilize teams toward shared goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present clearly to executives and technical teams.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset; requires minimal direction to drive complex initiatives forward.
- Demonstrated interest in current and emerging technologies through training, delivery experience, and/or industry involvement.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; actively incorporates input from diverse stakeholders and resolves conflict constructively.
- Experience leading global, distributed teams across time zones and cultures.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others, strengthening program delivery capability across teams.
- Customer-focused approach; evaluates decisions through customer impact, builds strong relationships, and partners with customers to shape future initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; synthesizes data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles, and builds actionable mitigation plans.
- Change-oriented; champions process improvements, drives adoption, balances competing priorities, and executes effectively in dynamic environments.
- Project management certification(s) preferred: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent.
