Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Activate FLIGHTDECK Fundamentals to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) excellence in product development and execution.
- Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge, helping the organization gain a competitive edge through customer-driven execution.
- Interact with customers/stakeholders to gather Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements, refine priorities, and obtain product feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products using Value Stream Management to eliminate waste and optimize delivery.
- Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product, ensuring alignment with Standard Work principles.
- Routinely collaborate with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams to resolve issues and make decisions that align with FLIGHTDECK Behaviors: Respect for People, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Driven.
- Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews, elaborating on personas and driving customer-focused prioritization.
- Own the release and sprint backlogs, ensuring readiness for multiple releases in a year.
- Continuously prioritize backlog items based on customer needs and problem validation.
- Demonstrate strategic expertise in problem decomposition and navigating ambiguity using structured problem-solving techniques.
- Engage frequently with the development team (50% of the time), facilitating discussions, providing clarification, story acceptance, refinement, testing, and validation.
- Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units, leveraging Action Planning to ensure alignment with KPIs and TTIs.
- Partner with Development Leadership to ensure a healthy development process and adherence to Operating Cadences.
- Manage government contract commitments, ensuring compliance with timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee the financial performance of government contracts, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with GE Aerospace Program Managers to integrate warehouse, inventory, and MRO digital capabilities into sustainment contracts, driving efficiency and customer value.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization, coaching others in Agile Methodology and lean principles.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Technical Expertise:
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity in Flow/Pull principles.
- Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security.
- Familiarity with managing an ERP solution, specifically IFS.
Business Acumen:
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts using FLIGHTDECK.
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
- Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single perspective to the DevOps team.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment and technologies in the market to make buy vs. build recommendations, scope MVPs, and drive market timing decisions.
Leadership:
- Influences through others, building direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas.
- Continuously reflects on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.
- Understands when change is needed and participates in technical strategy planning aligned with FLIGHTDECK Behaviors.

For Candidates in the US:
The base pay range for this position is $131,000 - $218,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 31st, 2026.
