What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Staff IT Engineer to join SentinelOne’s IT team. SentinelOne IT team's mission is to provide highly reliable and innovative services to the enterprise. They will perform technical planning, end-to-end design, configurations, and automation for cloud computing and on-prem infrastructure. This position will focus on the optimization of infrastructure and processes for manageability, scalability, security, and reliability.
The Engineer will be expected to provide technical expertise during the design, build, and maintenance phases of our infrastructure. They will demonstrate subject matter expertise of cloud technologies and best practices for maintaining their security. They will ensure that standards set by Data, Security, and other enterprise domains are followed during the design and implementation phases.

What will you do?
Design, develop, and implement automation and orchestration across enterprise technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across core enterprise technologies such as Active Directory and Google Workspace.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine needs and develop comprehensive solutions that resolve inefficiencies in critical processes.
- Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, Data Architecture, Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure architecture standards are adopted and followed
- Design and drive the Authentication and Authorization architectures for existing and new technologies
- Provide detailed documentation around design and implementation of core automations, data flow, and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and system design best practices.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- Proficient in scoping and designing automations that manage interactions between multiple SaaS applications and their APIs.
- Hands-on experience managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure for an engineering lead organization.
- Multi-cloud experience, with expertise in at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.
- Experience in designing IAM solutions in both on-prem and AWS / GCP cloud platforms. Including, but not limited to, Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), and Okta.
- Practical experience working with cloud automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.; Python, Powershell, or Bash scripting experience is necessary.
- Proven track record of driving efficiency through standards, automation, and management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A self-starter that is passionate and motivated by new technologies, and has empathy for legacy systems
- A quick learner that can keep up with new features being released by the cloud providers

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some

Base Salary Range
$157,600—$217,000 USD
