What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Field Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a best of breed Identity and lateral movement detection and prevention solution.
To be successful as a sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of technical products and services and be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
What will you do?
  • Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns
  • Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer
  • Lead Proof of concept/value engagements
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
  • Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, etc.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting.
  • 7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role.
  • Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership.
  • Superior communication skills including whiteboarding, public speaking and technical writing.
  • Operational or sales experiences with SaaS, Identity or Active Directory a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%.

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. The range posted here is the on-target earnings (OTE) for this position, inclusive of base salary and commissions.
