Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect – Services Presales - Enterprise Networking to lead the design and development of enterprise networking focused service solutions for our clients. This role requires deep expertise in networking technologies, strong consultative skills, and the ability to craft high-value, scalable, and repeatable service offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, sales teams, and delivery teams to define, position, and develop solutions that address complex enterprise networking challenges

Role Description

  • Presales Engagement
    • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand client requirements, goals, and pain points
    • Support pre-sales engagements working with account teams to lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and assessments to evaluate current environments and identify opportunities for modernization
  • Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives
    • Function as a trusted advisor for clients, building strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Solution Development
    • Create comprehensive technical proposals, including solution architecture, implementation roadmaps, and cost estimates
    • Design scalable, software defined networking (SDN) and hybrid/multi-cloud network solutions
    • Provide expertise in enterprise networking technologies including SD-WAN, SASE, network automation, cloud networking, and security architectures
    • Drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
    • Partner with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure consistent solution development and smooth handoff of signed projects
    • Engage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and customer success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement
    • Work with product and marketing teams to stay informed about the latest features and updates in the enterprise networking space.
    • Mentor, enable, and support sales teams in understanding and articulating the value of SHIs enterprise networking services
    • Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology
  • Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth and leading innovation initiatives
  • Create and maintain practice standards and practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services

Skill Level Requirements

  • Expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network security
  • Proficiency with network automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, APIs
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on services solution development and revenue growth in Professional Services
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of SHIs solutions to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and design solutions that meet their business objectives and budget constraints with a consultative approach.
  • Experience in developing SOWs and driving revenue growth in professional services.
  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation, proposals, and architecture diagrams.

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • 10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
  • 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions
  • 10 years of experience working with and migrating technology solutions
  • 10 years of experience developing and executing scripts for automation and deployment

Preferred Certifications

CCIE, JNCIE, AWS/Azure Networking - Preferred

The base salary range for this position is $128,000 - $200,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus is $160,000 - $250,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
