About brightfin

brightfin is an enterprise SaaS platform helping Fortune 500 and mid-market companies optimize IT spend across telecom, FinOps, and technology asset management. Our customers include large healthcare systems, financial institutions, global enterprises, and government agencies — organizations where data security and trust are non-negotiable.

The role

Solution Consultants sit at the center of every deal. You're the person who turns a prospect's problem into a documented business case, and a business case into a signed deal. You'll work directly with our direct and indirect sales teams, and with prospects up to the C-level, to show exactly how brightfin solves real cost and efficiency problems in IT and telecom.

What you'll do

  • Run discovery. Ask the right questions to understand a prospect's business, processes, and pain points, then define the business case with them.
  • Present and demo. Show brightfin's platform to audiences from operational managers to C-level executives, in person and remote.
  • Build the business case. Use modeling tools, proof-of-concepts, and whiteboard sessions to show the value brightfin delivers — in dollars, not just features.
  • Close the gaps. Analyze a customer's current requirements against brightfin's solution, flag where they don't line up, and work with the customer to refine the fit.
  • Own the paperwork that wins deals. Lead RFPs, InfoSec questionnaires, and SOWs from first draft to signature.
  • Bring the expertise. Stay current on IT financial management, telecom, and the ServiceNow ecosystem so you're always the most informed person in the room.
  • Hand off clean deals. Document the solution clearly enough that our implementation and services teams can pick it up and run.
  • Keep everyone aligned. Give the executive team, Services, Product, and Support a clear, consistent read on what each customer needs and expects.

What you bring

  • 5+ years solving complex business problems, gained through consulting, solution engineering, or a related field.
  • A track record of explaining technical solutions clearly to both operational staff and senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills — you can look at IT and telecom data and see what it means for the business.
  • Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, IT financial management, or telecom expense management (or the ability to learn fast).
  • Comfort building your own ROI models, process flows, and presentations in Microsoft Office, and demoing them live or remote.
  • Willingness to travel roughly 30% of the time across the US.

If you love turning complexity into clarity — and closing deals along the way — we want to meet you.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • brightfin offers a comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits package.
  • Paid time off. We strongly believe in work-life balance and taking time for yourself.
  • 401K with employer match
  • Compensation Range: OTC: $160,000 - $190,000

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel: 30%

Location: Remote
